Kafeel Ahmad is presently, Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering and Hony. Director (Research), Jamia Millia Islamia. He is Fellow of Institution of Engineers (FIE), India and Chartered Engineer (CE) India. He is graduated in Civil Engineering and post graduated in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He obtained his Ph.D. (Environmental Engineering) degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Dr. Ahmad has 19 years research and teaching experience. He has supervised seven PhD thesis and 27 M. Tech dissertations. He has published 92 papers in national /international journals and conferences. He has 1421 citations of his research work with H-index 11. Dr. Ahmad is Casual Reviewer of more than 25 reputed international journals of environmental science and engineering. He has also specially designed and authored a book on environmental science and engineering for competitive examinations. He has provided consultancies in different areas of environmental engineering, such as design of ETPs/STPs, development of solid waste management plan and air quality modeling as well as efficacy and adequacy of ETP/STP/ECS/Air Pollution Control Systems etc.
